Cherrick Fellow 2022-23

I completed a BA in Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies and Jewish History and Contemporary Jewry, and an MA in Israel Studies - both at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. My Ph.D. thesis – Israel's Intervention in Lebanon (1969-1982) as a Case-Study to its Policy in the Middle East (under the supervision of Prof. Elie Podeh and Prof. Eyal Zisser) – examines Israel's policy in Lebanon from a broad prism of its policy toward the Middle East. Over the last four years, I received a President's Scholarship at the Mandel School at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. My research interests are Israel's secret relations in region, the Middle Eastern system and Israeli mythology. I am also the editor of 'Yesodot: Studies in the History of the IDF', and the founder of the 'Forum for Israel Studies' at the Hebrew University.
