His research focuses on processes of multi-directional cultural translations that occurs in encounters between Ultra-orthodox and National-Ultra-Orthodox communities and psychotherapeutic discourses and values. These processes demonstrate renewed interpretations of Judaism and psychology, in light of the spread of therapeutic ideologies throughout the world. Furthermore, his research examines how National Ultra-orthodox psychotherapists act as mediators and translators between these two discourses. The research is based on a fieldwork in National Ultra-orthodox psychotherapists' organizations and activities in the fields of masculinity and sexuality.
