Cherrick Fellow 2023-2024

Batsheva Neuer is a 2023-2024 fellow at the Cherrick Center for the study of Zionism and was a 2022-2023 Knapp fellow at the Vidal Sassoon International Center for the Study of Antisemitism (SICSA), both at the Hebrew University, where she is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Jewish History and Contemporary Jewry. Her dissertation is entitled Israel and the Question of Racism and Related Intolerance: The Road to the World Conference at Durban. Her MA thesis entitled Changing Faces: H. Res. 183 as a Case Study on Contemporary Antisemitism analyses the philosophical, historical and political context of H. Res. 183 in the United States Congress.
